Wilmington Wind Turbines
September 15, 2009
An Intermarine vessel, the Industrial Dart, calls Wilmington, Delaware to discharge the first of many wind turbine blade shipments coming into the port. The blades are destined to wind energy sites in Pennsylvania and Indiana. Intermarine has been moving blades from Brazil to the United States for more than seven years and is one of the largest wind service providers in the world. The company has been offering up to four sailings per month from Santos to the U.S. Gulf and as required to destinations in the US West and East coasts.
