Mid-June 2008 the Industrial Destiny, an Intermarine heavy lift vessel, loaded five oversize steam transformers in Shanghai for Saudi Arabia. The 125 metric tons transformers are critical components of a project for the JUBAIL WATER AND POWER COMPANY. The Industrial Destiny is equipped with dual 250-ton cranes capable of handling lifts up to 500 tons. This vessel is one of several vessels utilized by Intermarine in its Far East India Gulf service. The FIG service offers regular from the Far East, as well as Southeast Asia to India and the Arabian Gulf countries.
