Intermarine’s relay services group handles special cargo moves of all sizes between the Far East and South America via Intermarine’s own terminal in Houston, Texas — Industrial Terminals.

In this photo series, Intermarine moved three 180 metric transformers from Masan, Korea to Puerto Cabello, Venezuela. The transformers were carried from Korea to Houston on a partner carrier’s vessel. Once in Houston, the heavy lift pieces were discharged onto a barge for the transfer to Industrial Terminals, where the 180-ton transformers were loaded directly from barge onboard the M/V Industrial Dolphin for on-carriage in Intermarine’s liner service to Venezuela, where the transformers were discharged onto receiver’s trucks in Puerto Cabello.
