Loading Splitter in Korea
The M/V Industrial Century loads a 330 Metric ton Naphta Splitter in Korea for Sikka, India. The critical component was loaded in Ulsan, Korea destined for the Reliance Jamnagar Project in the autumn of 2007. The Industrial Century was the seventh vessel to call Sikka for the same project, and second ship to call Sikka in October.
The Industrial Century is one of seventeen vessels in the Intermarine fleet capable of making lifts of 400 tons or more. This 8,000 DWT vessel features dual 200 metric ton cranes that may be combined for 400-ton lifts. With an overall length of 120 meters and beam of 20 meters, the ship can accommodate underdeck components up to 70 meters long and is very well suited for the movement of project/heavy-lift cargoes.
